Collection: Featured Collection

Sometimes, it is hard to pick my favorite pieces from all the pottery I create. But there are common threads, despite the many varied pieces you will see in my featured collection.

You will see a great deal of texture in these vessels, whether created through the glazing process, through carving or imprinting designs, or by adding clay. Many pieces have a very organic flow,  sometimes incorporating the rough edges or tears in the clay.  Yet I also love the very precise look and crisp lines of taped designs that highlight the contrast between glazed and unglazed surfaces. 

Often, my favorites are determined by what just came out of the kiln. Some of the pieces on this page have been favorites for a while. But there will always be new favorites next time the kiln is opened.
